Writing now from an apartment in Minneapolis, I remember fondly my time in Italy with various amazing musicians and artists.
I was lucky enough to record with two of my favourite players at different times during my stay.
The first, with Benny Bettane. We spent
three days solid working in his studio on arranging and recording two songs. Our first arrangement, Dance Monkey by Tones and I is available online already. The second... is coming soon. I can't wait to share it with you.
I also spent a week with Chiara Voltolina, who's playing and teaching inspires me to no end. We recorded SO MUCH together, but for now only one of those recordings is online. Again, I can't wait to share the rest with you.
Collaboration is my favourite thing about music. Connecting with new players, creating new energies and flows together, is such an inspiring and incredible feeling. I hope you enjoy the videos from my time in Italy with these beautiful people.
